Dear ❤️ explorers,
Our trip 🚌 today is towards the north, to the ⛰ mountains of Bcharre and nearby charming villages.
We will start with 💧 Ain Ekrin with its 2 hidden 🏛 Roman temples, the site is called Qasr Naous and it houses Roman ruins dating back to 2000 years ago.
On the way to the mountains, we will stop for 🫖 coffee, have a chance to greet women villagers, and buy from their all-natural preserves 🫓. -Mouneh- or visiting the beautiful 🏘 Castel of Lebanon, his walls made by Akkar black stone, and a nice museum inside made by different natural things.
The next visit will also be to a historical hidden gem 💒 called St Simon archaeological monastery, Bkerkasha.
It was built at the beginning of the 🏺 12th century and is located in a rocky natural setting. The views from inside the cave are amazingly peaceful, 🔭 overlooking the sacred valley of Kadisha.
We proceed to Bcharre for an old town 🥾walk and to 👓 see the Gibran house, then we will stop to discover the famous Gibran museum in Bcharre.
We then continue to lunch in a traditional restaurant located in 🌿 beautiful Ehden, with amazing views from above the ⛰ mountains.
