20 $ including 🚌 transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, coffee, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching, and pictures.

📜 DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

It’s 🍁 Autumn time!! and what better time to go 🚶 hiking, and explore 🇱🇧 Lebanon’s amazing ⛰mountains, 🌿golden flowery scenery in Tannourine, North Lebanon. We will get the chance to walk the valley along the riverbank of Nahr 💦 El Jawz with the Golden trees on a road dated back to the🏛 Roman Empire, where we can take a lot of unforgettable 📷 pictures.
Tannourine is home to over 17 villages such as Tannourine el Fawqa, Wata Houb, el Wadi, Tannourine el Tahta, and many other 🌫️ wonderful villages.
The hike tour in Douma will go around the well-preserved and authentic village between the 🫒 olive trees orchards; we will have the chance to walk in the 🧺 old souk of Douma too, this beautiful village known for its 🎗 special location and great landmarks, its houses red brick and unique temperate climate. We will be also able to discover ⚱️ old handcrafts and listens to the 🏺 history of Douma.

🌿🥾 HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
There will be divided into three levels:
We will visit the old 💒 Crusade church in Tannourine aged more than 1000 years and then start our hiking journey.

🏅 Level 2 (Distance of 3 km – 1Hrs approx. at a slow pace – Altitude is 900m to950m)
it’s only 👓 visiting the amazing landmarks.

🥇 Our hiking for level 4: it’s downhill, an easy and beautiful trail of just 7 KM. From the 💒 old church, we will continue along a trail leading to old mills, then to the 💦 river. We will also be able to 🔭 see rare views particular to this altitude terrain. The stunning ⛰ mountainous landscape, with 🌲🌳 cedars and pine forests seemingly defying gravity and growing on extremely vertical slopes, is 🌫️ impressive; the scenery is great.
After crossing Wata Houb the scenery changes from this stage. We will pass through a dense 🌲🌳🌴 forest of different kinds of trees, giving the impression of being in a 🍂🍁🍂 jungle. Will be charmed above all by the trees along the river banks and the walnut trees which grow in preference close to the 💦 water and which have given the river its name.
The track will take us to a reserve of 60 gazelles. Where the scenery is great, the animals live in their natural habitat.

Our 🍞 lunch will be under 🌳oak trees near the riverbank at El Wadi village or in Souk Douma.

🥈 Then we will continue with level 5 (just 12 KM) from the village of El Wadi and head towards the river bank until we reach the bridges and mills of Tannourine Tahta village at Tahoun Bassa. Then by 🚌 bus will join level 2 & 4.

Then the bus will take us to Douma village; we will walk the 🏺 old souk, discover the great 🎗 landmarks and take a lot of 📷 pictures.
