Join us for an amazing trail, to explore the beautiful AFQA🌿 Nature Reserve located in the Byblos district, and enjoy the freshness of the 💧 water grotto and waterfalls at this time of year, we will hike together in one group along a down easy path of just 8 KM. The 🔭 views are remarkable. We can see Jabal Moussa and Nahr Ibrahim valley with all the villages surrounding the valley as Aqoura, Kartaba, Ghabat, Yanouh, Etc,

25 $ including 🚌 transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides, coffee, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching, and pictures.
Children 18 years old and younger will have a discount of 10%. (23$/person)
Every 3 coupons can be exchanged for a free hiking trip.

Optional transportation by your own 🚗 vehicles 15 $/person

There are 200.000LL Extra Entrance fees to the Pond. (Optional)

📜 DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

🌿🥾 HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
🥇 Level 4 (8 km, approx. 2:45Hr) We will start the hike from the hills of Qehmez, one of the most spectacular villages of Mount Lebanon overlooking Nahr Ibrahim gorge. Along the way we will visit Nabi Hadwan, a walk to the sanctuary located on the steep cliff is a must to see. We will see as well the🌴 old juniper trees and then go down to visit a great and 🏛 ancient temple located near the waterfall and the impressive Afqa Grotto. There, ritual prostitution was practiced until the time of Constantine in Afqa village.
The main feature of Afqa is the beautiful rock formations spread throughout the villages. We get to walk on an agricultural road along the mountain cliff “Chir El Jalse” overlooking the spectacular simultaneous sea and mountain, reach in breathtaking views.
We will end the🥾 hike at Afqa Grotto and the waterfall. Then will continue down to the river bank near another waterfall and pond beneath a 🏛 Roman ridge for lunch, relax under the shade of the trees and enjoy the sound of 💧 water. where we will take some magical photos. (There is a snack shop nearby)
