Falougha – Kfarselwan is known for its green hills, numerous water ponds, and the two rivers that intersect it.

We invite you to a new relaxing sunset hike at Kfarselwan lakes this Saturday 22th of June.

We are going to a higher site, to a new territory… It’s wonderful.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

New Trail to the Other Side Lakes of Kfarselwen with a Sunset View & Bonfire at the Peak Overlooking Maten.

Definitely, a new sunset hike in Kfarselwan is an option to spend summer evenings.

The 19^th-century French poet, novelist, and statesman Alphonse De Lamartine visited Lebanon and spent some time in Hammana. He described the town and its surrounding valley as “one of the most beautiful prospects ever presented to the human eye to scan in the works of God“.

The hike will take place near the amazing lakes. We will have many reasons to keep our cameras handy, there will be scenes to cherish forever.

Level 4 (around 7.5 KM – 3.0 Hours approx.) is an easy and pleasing trail.

Our trail will start from the pine forest of Falougha, passes between the very known water ponds, and descend from the top of a hill to see a panoramic view. We continue our hike passing by different lakes, springs and old houses. There we will enjoy the fresh air and watch the beautiful summer sunset. Afterward, we start going downhill between the lakes till we reach Kfarselwen after a hike between the cherry and apple trees. The scenery is great.

After finishing the trail, we will gather near a bonfire at amazing spot and we will have the opportunity to take a boiling tea and test roasted potatoes cooked by local villagers.

This sunset hike is not to be missed. It will imprint unforgettable memories of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
