DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:
=======================
Success is not something that you attract, it’s something that you cultivate. Dale Corazon will help you achieve it.
If archeology and history are of interest to you, the Sfireh region offers you a little-known site of great value.
Contrarily to what is commonly thought, the best-preserved Roman remains are to be found in the North of Lebanon, in the village of Sfireh. Situated in the sub-prefecture of Minieh – Dinniyeh, it shelters at least three Roman temples, one of which has kept the original height of its walls.
It’s one of the most beautiful hikes that will leave wonderful pictures in your memory. It has an Excellent Ecological Environment Filled with Woodlands, Orchards, and Groves.
HIKING LEVEL: 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous.
Our hike will be one level:
LEVEL 4 to 5 (Approx. 3.5 hr) From the Sfeereh fortress to the old village, it will be an easy walk: the first part is uphill, the next one is at a hilltop overlooking great views. The lunch will be there on the top then downhill. During our hike, you will pass by beautiful landscapes, rich in the remains of ancient civilizations; you will remark sarcophagi, pines trees, rock shelters, old grapes, olive presses, Nawawiss carved in the rock, and Roman temples of Speeros. From the moment you start hiking until the moment you stop, there will be scenes that you want to cherish forever.
This magnificent location makes that destination one of the best in Lebanon.
On our way back to Beirut, we may stop in Batroun to drink freshly squeezed Lemonade.
Special? Yes! You will encounter a lot of unique things on this hike!
