This hike in Qobayet belongs to North Lebanon, is one of the highlights of a visit to Lebanon where the scenery is really beyond description.
This time we will enjoy a hike with special combination: Ozor & Cedars Forests at Wadi El Aswad, a trail of our ancestor, perfect weather conditions and beautiful peaceful scenery.
HIKE LOCATION : Wady El Aswad – Qobayat forest – Northern Lebanon

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:
========================
This time we will go walk on a beautiful trail and visit Wadi Al Aswad (the Black Valley). Our hike will start in Qammoua, on a trail known as Tariq El Ingliz. We will walk altogether as one group on that trail, and then hike in the Black Valley. All info and description of the forest will be described on site.
Wady El Aswad is combined with different forests, like junipers, hairy oaks, cypresses, cedars, and Cilician firs. The forest of hairy oaks is to be counted among the most beautiful forests in the world.
HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
The easy level 3 will continue to the Sanam trail for approximately one hour and a half.
The intermediate level 4 will continue for approximately one hour more.
As for the advanced level 6, it will continue to Juwar El khiem, and walk for almost three hours and a half. For both levels Will take our lunch under one of these trees (Ozor Tree) where the trees reach the sky.
The advance will take place on an altitude that varies from 1600 and 1300 meters, with almost 500 Downhill.
On our way back to Beirut, we may stop in Batroun to drink fresh Lemonade.
