Fresh air\, rugged beauty\, a charming pedestrian village\, is waiting for us.\nThe sky and the nature of the region from⛰ “kornet el jraid” hill located at 1914 m above sea level are not to be missed. There are breathtaking views 🔭 overlooking the river “Nahr Ebrahim” to be remembered forever.\nOur 🥾trail is uphill and downhill for about 13km. We will walk for a couple of hours to reach the great golden 🍂🍁🍂 Iron Oak forest in Ehmej ”Al-Ozor” then Ehmej village.\n🐻 Ehmej is the perfect destination for your adventure. Stunning views and friendly villagers make Ehmej an ideal destination for escaping from the city.\nWe will start our hiking by a visit to 💧 “El Aalaq” spring in Laqlouq between the majestic mountains.\n🌿🥾 HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy\, 4 to 6 for intermediate\, 7 to 9 for strenuous\nOur hike will be divided into two levels:\n🥇 Level 4\, (7Km. 2.5 hrs. approx.). It’s a beautiful 🚶 trail between different forests. From Laqlouq resort and head towards a beautiful natural hanging stone bridge\, where the group will be divided. We will also be able to see rare views like the ⛰3 pyramids particular to this altitude terrain. Then at ‘’ Laqlouq Resort ‘’ will take the bus to Ehmej forest (El Ouata) and from there we will continue walking on a downhill trail. The track will take us to the great 🍂🍁🍂 golden Iron Oak forest in Ehmej ”Al-Ozor”. There will have a picnic 🍞 lunch together. After lunch\, we will walk down crossing by 💧 Ain Nassouh to a vertical isolated rock known as⛰ “Qornet Raheb” or the Monk’s peak.\n🥈 Level 6 (13Km. 4.0 hrs. approx.). We will pass through white peaks\, giving the impression of being in the sky\, will continue from Laqlouq resort uphill and head towards a beautiful natural hanging stone bridge\, after upward in a dirt road until we reach ⛰ Qornet el Tillaj (1899) 🔭 overlooking the area\, all the area is full of natural rock formations looking like Statues making it a unique place to hike in and some wonderful sinkholes are there. From there downhill to El Ouata crossing by amazing cave and springs. There will be minimal time for rest and 📷 photo sessions. We will get the chance to walk the valley along the riverbank of Nahr 💦 El Jawz with the Golden trees on a road dated back to the🏛 Roman Empire\, where we can take a lot of unforgettable 📷 pictures.\nTannourine is home to over 17 villages such as Tannourine el Fawqa\, Wata Houb\, el Wadi\, Tannourine el Tahta\, and many other 🌫️ wonderful villages.\nThe 💦 river has a unique beauty drawn by the hands of 🕊 God. It renders possible the cultivation of a number of small private properties\, watering the gardens and plots of farmland in Kfar Helda\, Beit Shlela\, and Bsetines el Ossi. The 🏺 Ruins of many monasteries and churches are scattered around the villages. \n🌿🥾 HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy\, 4 to 6 for intermediate\, 7 to 9 for strenuous\nThere will be divided into four levels: \nFirst we will visit the old 💒 Crusade church in Tannourine aged more than 1000 years and then start our hiking journey. \n🏅 Level 2 (Distance of 3 km – 1Hrs approx. at a slow pace – Altitude is 900m to950m)\nit’s only 👓 visiting the amazing landmarks. \n🥇 Our hiking for level 4: it’s downhill\, an easy and beautiful trail of just 7 KM. From the 💒 old church\, we will continue along a trail leading to old mills\, then to the 💦 river. We will also be able to 🔭 see rare views particular to this altitude terrain. The stunning ⛰ mountainous landscape\, with 🌲🌳 cedars and pine forests seemingly defying gravity and growing on extremely vertical slopes\, is 🌫️ impressive; the scenery is great.\nAfter crossing Wata Houb the scenery changes from this stage. We will pass through a dense 🌲🌳🌴 forest of different kinds of trees\, giving the impression of being in a 🍂🍁🍂 jungle. Will be charmed above all by the trees along the river banks and the walnut trees which grow in preference close to the 💦 water and which have given the river its name.\nThe track will take us to a reserve of 60 gazelles. Where the scenery is great\, the animals live in their natural habitat. \nOur 🍞 lunch will be under 🌳oak trees near the riverbank at El Wadi village or in Beit Chlela at Maatouk Restaurant beside Nahr Jawz. \n🥈 Then we will continue with level 5 (just 12 KM) from the village of El Wadi and head towards the river bank until we reach the bridges and mills of Tannourine Tahta village at Tahoun Bassa.
