Kadisha means “Holy” in Aramaic\, and the valley\, sometimes called the Holy Valley\, has sheltered Christian monastic communities for many centuries. The Valley which harbors the most ancient Christian monasteries in the world is on the verge of being radiated from the World Heritage list because of serious plagues that are destroying it. \n  \nHistory: \nAnnoubine’s history dates back to the 7th century. It has monasteries and sanctuaries spread all over the gorge\, in the form of caves or churches. \nSince the early centuries of Christianity\, the Holy Valley has served as a refuge for those in search of solitude. Lots of fresh seafood and Mezza options await you there! \nAfter lunch\, we will have the chance of visiting Sarafand\, which is famous for its glass blowing crafts\, practiced the traditional way since Phoenician times. By this trip\, we are encouraging cultural and sustainable tourism in Lebanon. \nAs part of sustainable and responsible tourism\, a visit will be dedicated today to the local women of Ras El-Ein near Tyre\, the women of this village produce mouneh\, and traditional sweets famous to their town. By that\, we will get to know this beautiful and relatively unknown village\, and support women by buying their natural products. \nKeep on exploring!  \n  \n“Logic will get you from A to B.
