We invite you to a great hike at Slayeb Tannourine and visiting the biggest reserve of 🫎 Gazelles in Lebanon this Sunday 07th of June.

The magnificent green 🌲🌳🌴 forest mixed with oak, pine, Juniper, cedars and many other plant species makes the trail one of the best in 🇱🇧 Lebanon, especially during this 💐🪻🌺 season. It’s wonderful!!!

25 $ including 🚌 transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), professional guides (certified tour operator), coffee, 5 minutes of warming up, stretching, and pictures.
25 years old and younger will have a discount of 20%. (20$/person)

There is a 300.000LL Extra entrance fee to Tannourine Cedars Forest.

📜 DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

Tannourine is home to over 70 000 ancient cedar trees such as the ‘’Cedrus Libani’’ species, a variety of pines, poplars, and other tree species like Cupressus, Pinus, Abies, and Populus
It is believed that some of these trees can sometimes age between 1000 and 2000 years.
Covering 12 square km, Tannourine Nature Reserve lies in a splendidly beautiful area and protects one of the largest and densest cedar forests in Lebanon.
🌿🥾 HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous.

The hike will be divided into two levels:

🏅 Level 4 (5.5 KM – 2.5 Hours) is an easy and pleasing trail. We will enjoy the fresh air and watch the beautiful Spring season. The stunning mountainous landscape, with cedars seemingly defying gravity and growing on extremely vertical slopes, is impressive. Will be able to see rare types of flowers particular to this high-altitude terrain. The scenery is just great. We will discover the old 🎗 landmarks of the area and take a lot of 📷 pictures.

🥈 Level 5 (8 KM- 3Hours approximatly) is an easy and wonderful trail. It needs some physical competence. We will have our lunch under Ayoub Tree.
On our way back to Beirut, we will stop in El Wady at a reserve that is home to 60 🫎 gazelles. Where the scenery is beautiful, and the animals live in their natural habitat.
